Microphone Madness (Countryman Style)

Guys,
I thought I would share this as I searched and didn't see them listed.

I found these a year ago and purchased a MM-PSM. I use it with an AT wireless system and it has been a huge help. I have spoken on a countryman a couple of times but have not owned one.

I can say that the MM mic has served my preaching sessions well and when I have tracked the services, the resulting audio was great and easy to work with (further EQ/Compression).

Hey Robert,

They don't advertise anywhere, but they do frequent different industry forums for support and updates. Michael, who's the lead guy there (President), is a wonderful person to work with. I've used their microphones extensively in both film and television as well as theater. Their PSM headmics are comparable to Countrymans, and if your talents are very active there's the dual ear version for a more secure fit. I'm using their PSM-L microphones on Little Shop of Horrors that I'm currently doing and comparing to multitude of microphones I'm using (COS11, TR50, B6, OSTTL40, 802, DPA4061), the PSM-L microphones needs the least amount of EQ or sometimes no EQ at all for a live sound situation. First decision was to use headmics on all 13 cast members, but there's no add'l help backstage with the costume changes and mic adjustments so it's all hidden and concealed. I say go for it, buy a couple for backups, and call it a day.

Good to know someone else makes good use of them. 'tis always nice too to have someone echo perceived value in what seems to be an obscure purchase. :)
