micro35 - caps from recent feature film

Here are a couple of recent micro35 grabs from a feature production wrapping principle photography this week. The photography was a Sony Z1U and a 70-200mm f.2.8 nikon zoom lens. The second shot is the end of a rack focus between a fountain and the girl behind it at 200mm lens. HDV is much more demanding on the adapter's performance. images are only flipped, de-interlaced and resized.

Brian - Those are some REALLY nice grabs. I'll take one of the micro35's if you throw in the girl's phone number. Just tell her I'm unemployed and I drive a moped. If she still won't give you the number, tell her it's a "red" moped and it's paid for. That should seal the deal. :)

Seriously, I remember when the micro35 was just a DIY project in one of the other sections. Look how far it's come. you guys have got a kick-butt product and a kick-butt website. Good luck with your success.

PK - you're pitch sounds really enticing... if I were her I'd be over there in 1/60th of a sec!
 
MattC - given the quality we're seeing, not a lot of people are waiting for a direct relay lens connection - they want to use their XL2 with their existing canon lens.

From what I surmise, it's pretty much the stock XL2 lens. But you could always ask the XL2 users on our forums
 
Do you have any grabs or footage from the DVX100? I would love to see that. I seriously want one of these!

Nice work guys. It's kind of hard to see just how well the adapter holds up with HDV. Do you have any full scale screen grabs?
