GH5 Micro P2 v1 media compatibility on GH5

I have quite a few Micro P2 v1 SDHC media that I use with the Varicam and other Panasonic cams. So far they're working great on the GH5. Seems to be able to record at UHD, 29.97 without any dropped frames. Has anybody else encountered problems? The Micro P2 v1 is very cheap now vs v2. Should I keep on getting Micro P2 v1 for multi and cross uses between the Panasonic family of cams?

Interesting. I have not tried these cards in the GH5. I will remember to give them a shot. I can't comment on viability though.

I would try using the free ATTO drive benchmarking software with a good USB 3 card reader to determine what the actual write speed of the P2 v1 SD cards is. For GH5 ALL-I 400 Mbps recording you want to use cards that benchmark at 70 MB/sec or faster. ( technically 400 Mbps should translate to 50 MB/sec, but these drive benchmarks only test MAXIMUM write speed and not the guaranteed MINIMUM write speed )

After using the benchmark app, the write speed on Micro P2 A series is about 27 MB/s, read is about 48 MB/s. Not enough for 400 Mbps on GH5. It worked OK for the 200 Mbps. There's the Micro P2 B-series that's rated at 90 Mb/s. But double the cost and maxed out at 64 Gb per card.
