Micro Gimbal for GH4, BMPCC, A7s - $699 USD

I bought the came-mini2 about a week before they released the came-single and having had the nebula 4000 (sold it) and enjoyed the one handed use I thought I wish I had waited doh! But now I actually think I made the right decision hooray! It works well is very comfortable and so much easier using two hands instead of one and easy to use inverted mode, only slight disappointment is I can't use any of my Vehdra lenses on Gh4 on it as just a little too heavy Nocticron 42.5 f1.2 (heavyish) with Nd filter or variable Nd filter works on it though.

Thanks -

I did see that, have followed the thread very closely from the beginning.
I appreciate your comments, and that you took the time to share what you found.
I asked as it seemed that now that Dave Duggdale and Cheesy Cam have reviewed the Came single (and the pilot fly) all the others seem to have dropped out of contention.
The fact that the sturdy flight lets you flip out the screen seems to be a big point in their favor, and tool-less is great as well. I also assume it could be inverted (unlike Came single).

Guys i got the Came Single today and a major change has happened that they do not mention on their site.

The battery is NOT replaceable any more :-( i opened it and it is soldered in :-(

I got one from the second batch.

Hi @TylerH Could you post some pictures please.

That makes no sense. And why not tell people about it? Real bummer. The Came Single just became much less attractive.

Every example I've seen of the Came single shows micro jitters when the camera is moving at a decent speed. Things that I would want to dial out with PID software. The fact that they say going into the PID's will void any warranty and seeing every video with micro jitter makes this device an absolute don't buy for me.

I filmed this video on the N4000 a couple months back. All the parkour stuff was filmed on one day and all the city stuff filmed guerrilla style the next day. So any shots showing movement was the Gh4 with 12-35 on the N4000. Many shots zooming in from 12 to 25 on the N4000 without any adjustment made to the gimbal.
I filmed it and handed it off. Did not edit and did not grade. I suggested a grade, but they took it elsewhere.

They added this to the product page on the website:

"We have made changes to the CAME-SINGLE Battery. The original version required you to remove and recharge the batteries. The new version of the CAME-SINGLE has a internal rechargeable batteries built into the handle which allows for more power and stability to the system."

Given that the battery-life of the CAME-SINGLE is 10+ hours, I don't think will be a big deal. You just have to remember to charge the unit after a long shoot.

Yea i just saw that, they must of very recently added that.

Mine has to go back, its faulty. If i pan to the right i can no longer pan to the left. If i pan left first its fine but if i pan right till it reaches the end its stuck there and i have to use my hand, very annoying :-(

Second gimbal i have ordered from came in the last year and last one was faulty too, not impressed with their quality control.

May I know from 2:40 to 2:50 how did you film it? Using a crane?

I got the Pilotfly H1+ today, it only took 1.5days from Hong Kong! wow!
I need some help dialing settings with the PID settings, this stuff is too complicated for me. The movi and ronin were easy to set up. So far I've tried the NX1 with bad results (due to bad settings on PID for sure) and an old Nex5 which amazing results (and I'm sure it can be dialed better).
Where can I get step by step PID config tutorials for dummies?
