that thing looks awesome, I saw a similar device for the gopro on digitalrevtv
after I tried to find something similar for the GH cameras, but they were all much larger. this is wicked, thanks for posting :D

super neat, and with a payload of 1Kg it's perfect for my a7s (with my relatively heavy 35mm it weights 910g)

the DIY version I'm building is a lot bigger and so far gets much worse results

Not perfect, but very nice, very cheap, and very small. Is it for sale already? I'm very frustrated today with my DIY one, I'm playing with the PID settings to get rid of vibrations and I'm getting nowhere...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

why yes this looks like what i've been waiting for... all the other micro gimbals top out just below what the rx10 weighs in at (830g) and the price looks right too. any info on what controller and motors it uses?

Bluetooth tuning on android pc only. 60% market is iPhones. For $700 they have to get iPhone enabled.

high side compared to what? what other 2lb capacity 3 axis gimbals are you aware of that are under 700?
Not only that. The thing I like the most about this one is that it is TINY. I can take this everywhere.
I'm giving myself a week to sort out the vibrations on my DIY gimbal, if I can't do it I'll buy this one.

Yeah this is a steal when you factor in you could travel without needing to bring a good tripod or monopod. This is really dirt cheap for what it does. Even if it isn't perfect it gets one 90% there.

Anybody know if the handle can be removed so this could be mounted to a monopod or a shoulder rig? Would be nice on a shoulder rig so you don't have to wear out your hand if you have to shoot for many hours. GH4 with a cage, follow focus and a good lens can get a bit heavy after awhile.

have anyone in this forum bought this? I try to search online but can only find videos posted by the maker themselves

Once we get some real world (i.e. purchases...) examples. I'm getting one - this is I think where the price point where they will be used by everyone. That is dirt cheap for something this compact and usable, makes the CAME7500/7800 look very bulky..

How does this work? I've seen the old passive type, purely mechanical stabilizers like the merlin before, but these use electronic sensors and software controllers right?
Are they hard to use?

edit: on the page it does say "Support Android and pc mac os" and next to that is a picture of an apple ipad, I think it's safe to assume ios support.

This is high-tech electronics, completely different from the passive type. There's a sensor in the plate where the camera sits, it sends signals to a processor, and this drives the motors, making sure everything stays stable. They are usually based on the BaseCam controller (aka Alexmos) and brushless motors. But what I've found when trying to build my own DIY system is that tuning the controller is far from straightforward. This product should come with those problems already solved.

Post deleted, most specs are shown at their website. Order placed!

The example only shows a linear movement and forward movement only while standing still. I would need to see some walking shots first before I would consider a purchase

I tried to purchase this device but when checking out it said, "No shipping methods available at this time". So I lost interest and so should you.
