Micro Gimbal for GH4, BMPCC, A7s - $699 USD

You can always add an external monitor on those thing, I plan to get PIX-E5 when it is released, as 3" is too small to check focus. And HDMI out works fine

Here is my one with the rig and 7" monitor, but normally on weddings/club where time and space is money i just fly without the rig

Takes away the whole idea of portability that the Neb 4000 is.....

Newbie looking for info
Have the following
Sony A7s
Novaflex e to Nikon Mount
Nikon 20mm and 28mm AIS
Nikon 14-24
Questions
Will the mount handle the 20 and 28mm primes with the Novaflex adaptor, seems like weight is OK, not sure about balance issues.
14-24 is too big for this rig, yes?
Can you see the A7S rear screen when mounted to Nebula 4000
Seems like using an external monitor will exceed weight limits and throw balance off?
Can you tether an HDMI cable to a monitor attached to your body without throwing off the rig?
One last question: DOES THIS REDUCE JELLO ISSUES?
Thanks

are cinemount systems and team rebel design the same company?

this video that was uploaded to their youtube is the same one that was uploaded to team rebel design's facebook page in april.

The new panasonic G7 might be the perfect partner for the nebula 4000, think I will get one and leave it permanently set up, as its a little smaller than the gh4 and at only £599 never need to take it off just remove lens and put dust cap on.

Hi everyone
Thank you all for your helpful posts.
I got a Nebula 4000 for my GH4 plus small pancake lens. It's working beautifully, except when I run it in inverted mode, then it has one problem: When I tilt up or down, the camera also rolls maybe 10, 15 degrees and thus goes off-level. This does not happen in upright mode. Any thoughts?
Thank you!
Richard

Well... CAME have finally joined the single handle party. OK, maybe not a BIG name, but certainly more established anyway.

tool-less balancing and quick release plate is a definite plus. also, this one supposedly has a 10 hour battery life! i dunno too much about gimbal circuit boards but i guess 32 bit is supposed to be an upgrade compared to 8 bit? lookin forward to seeing footage!

The Came Single looks amazing! I am ordering one and will do a test video and short review as soon as I get it and get some time over. I have had some contact with came with some basic questions and they are quite helpful so this should turn out fine!

Howdy,

Do these single-handle gimbals designed for the GH4 / A7S / BMPCC still work with smaller cameras like GoPro's? My question is mainly from the perspective of weight rather than how to mount the cameras to the gimbal.

Thanks for any insight!

looking forward to it! the came-tv single sounds like the most compelling option right now but it is also $400 more expensive. hopefully this one is good. noticed this video just now, posted yesterday.

I can only assume that the purpose of that video was simply to show all the parts of the gimbal - 260 degrees. Because, it does nothing really to show the real world use of the gimbal. Pretty good that it has joystick control on two axis though, not just pitch.

The N4000 and the Gh4 saved the day on this.

Here is the 1st cut (once band see it I'm sure it's to change) using the gimbal.

Everything moving is the Gh4 with 12-35 on the N4000.
Other cameras used are the Sony Fs7, BMC4K, and Inspire 1

Really great footage, Dusty!

I can't believe this thread is still going.

I received my Nebula a week or two after Dustylens -- so, (I don't remember) five months? I can report that I've never yet had a problem with it and that it still works fine. It's not magic, and all the old stabilizer rules apply -- but -- on many levels it is a better option than a traditional camera stabilizer.

At this point -- I have absolutely no regrets about the purchase.

2 axis only, as opposed to the other mentionned here. Plus it's pre-ordering for $700, that's a high price for only 2 axes.
