Get that pancake on there, I think you are going to have better luck with it.

I got the pancake on there now and trying to balance.. still not much luck but trying.

Can anyone share where on the adjustments they have the gh4 on. I noticed that they have numbers and measurements. The sled on the bottom has three and Dave Dugdale said for the gh4 maybe try the middle one.

Anyone else have that same experience with the gh4? Can anyone post a image of where exactly the camera is on there gimbal, maybe we can get a consistant number for that for new owners.

Ok I know i have been posting on this thread soooo much... But changed the lens to a pancake, and just picked a place on the side slot which goes up and down. Put the gh4 in the middle slot on the sled and it took me about five mins to find a balance. I am sure it was just luck. So it now does all the 45 degree angles :) and even when I lean it left to right... Looks balanced to me !!!!

Now the issue with this unit has to be something in software now because its balanced and when i turn it on its ok but when I add movement it goes crazy with 360s and all over the place.

Going to delve into the software now and see if I can reset it or something too see if that will help. Any suggestions?

Still waiting on mine, but from what I've read, getting into the PID settings is actually more of a last resort thing- but it looks like you're there. Maybe this video will help:

Filmpower want to make every users with rapid support. But it difficult in different timezone. Better make appointment with skype. Or mail to support@filmpower.com

I have to say with a big smile, Film Power did a call with me and walked me through the settings and now I have a working gimbal.... :) They were super nice and had to be patient with me as I know I was kinda everywhere on here looking for answers. I also forget it was weekend ... lol But we did connect and the guy was crazy helpful and now its working. There might be some fine tuning on this at this point but I think that might be pretty easy to do.

Also I turned the camera on and walked through my house and was really excited and I have only shot one min of video ... lol

I am so glad they were able to help me and I was kinda shocked because it was a Sunday as well so it was a nice for them to connect with me. So great customer service for me with FilmPower and I am happy with it.

I was searching for exactly this kind of product for literally months. I can't express how excited I was to discover it. I was an early adopter ordering on 27th November long before I saw all this online interest. There is nothing else similar available out there. When I had mine working i was really happy. I cannot express how disappointed I am to not have a working one of these in my gear kit.

A summary of my (hellish) experience.

A) First Nebula 4000 Lite failed after two days. When connecting to software it said sensor was not connected.

B) Trying to get customer service was difficult due to time zones. Have way through my inital contact with Angelica she suddenly replied saying "hi,dear : what is wrong with you?" on response to a detailed email about my experiences. I also received emails from two different email addresses (Both Angelica).

C) Angelica agreed to send a replacement, but refused to pay my $114 postage loss.

D) When replacement came it went dead within an hour of use. I sought advice on what may have happened. No technical feedback or questioning - straight away an offer of full refund and postage paid.

E) I asked if we could try and get to the bottom of what went wrong and explained my circumstances/experiences/issues in detail.

F) At this point, Filmpower replied to me with details of the first returned product. They said the wire twisted and broke.

G) A similar summary of my first faulty Nebula with pictures was posted on here (by Filmpower staff Jacksmith) and on facebook (By Filmpower) in order to imply that it was user fault rather than product. You will have to take my word for it, but I was aware and very careful not to allow parts to rotate.

H) The feedback also said the second product had "circuit board to bear too much voltage, another is against the power, and under a lot of voltage". Which I have unsuccessfully sought clarification of numerous times.

I) Angelica at this point offered me the original free refund plus postage, and also said she would "when we have new product will send to you review by free" and also asked "can you put the bad comments deleted or modified".

J) I responding by saying "If I receive a fully working model with no problems I will change my comments to very positive ones and I will provide YouTube footage which will show the internet how well it works."

K) Next I get Filmpower on facebook and A Filmpower rep by the username Windboyz seemingly accusing me (and others) of being in collusion with DJI and simply trying to tell everyone that the product is no good to protect DJI from a rival company. WTF???? Some quotes - "he ROTATE DELIBERATLY to make the wire die" "Hi! DJI guys from CHINA, Don't make ROMOURS for Nebula again......" "The second circuit broken clearly human make it die in special way"

L) I continued to seek clarification on what may have happened with my second Nebula, and expressed a desire to receive another replacement numerous times.

M) When pressed, Angelica would only reply repeating the same offer of refund and ignore my queries and requests for a replacement.

N) Angelican at one point suddenly asked me "are you in china now ? why you send email from china ?" I've no idea what this was about, I live in Ireland as I told them before.

O) Suddenly all moneys and postage costs were transferred back to my paypal along with an email request to return my faulty Nebula. (see attached)

P) I have also now just noticed that I have been blocked/banned from the Nebula 4000 Lite Usergroup on Facebook where I was talking about my experiences.

If anyone is dubious about my authenticity, i am a wedding videographer from Northern Ireland (see website below), and if anybody doubt my account or the truth of what I say, I will happily post screenshots of the emails etc...

Clivemcl I've had a similar experience with them. They call me DJI guy, or something like that. They seem to think I'm some enemy/spy from another gimbal manufacturer, or I know not what. If one day we learn they're 13-year-olds I wouldn't be the least surprised.

For good news, I'm now getting the Nebula 4000 to work well. I've been able to balance and run a GM1/14-45 and a Sony a6000/10-18. However, I still get vibrations occasionally. They are full of s___ when they say it's no problem running these when you change zoom, or even take off the lens cap. Also, I don't see how any one PID setting will work for all setups. But again, I'm making progress, and when it works, it gives a feel, even standing still, that I simply LOVE. I took some experimental video today where I'm walking backwards and tripping over all kinds of things and you can barely notice.

Glad mine is coming from Hong Kong. If it came from CA, I would be concerned it was one of the faulty units discussed here, "repaired".

Same experience as Clive, bl00dy awful, money now refunded by NF, and a request to return - it's in the post. Also blocked from Nebula 4000 User Group. Very odd but clearly not an impartial User Group, just one requiring positive posts only. Shame as some users had been very helpful

The whole experience has left a very bad taste regardless of how useful the product might eventually be!!

My advice to anyone thinking of leaping in, unless you can repair yourself and implicitly understand PID's I would avoid

I could put a couple of hours into the N400 this weekend, and got it to work reasonably smooth. The battery seemed to die real soon, though, so I'm going to build a portable charger with some 18650 spares I have lying around.

I was worried about the same thing but I have too tell these are really well built. And the only reason I couldnt balance it or get it going was my own lack of knowledge of the unit but nothing wrong with the unit. Those were prob early models going out so I wouldnt worry at all. :) This little gimbal is going to change alot of things for our shooting, really love it and I only had it working for one day.

Great to hear- and really loving the Paris footage posted above. Mine just arrived at DHL in Nashville, so should be here today or tomorrow.

Before receiving the N4000, I had read comments of people sticking it on a monopos and using that to move the N4000 around. I could see myself swinging the N4000 around on a long monopod, as if it was a half-human crane.
After playing a bit with the unit... not a great idea ^___^
It might work, but, to put it mildly, you'd need a kind of physical strength that's currently not at my reach.

The thing is light, but not any more if you put it at one end of a long pole and operate from the other end. You'd need a point of contact in the middle (I still can see this as a cheap crane, mounted on my tripod).

Plan B: I'm printing a grip that can be screwed on the bottom of the N4000 handle, and attaches to my Flycam brace. It should be easy to operate, with no wrist force whatsoever, just biceps. And without touching the aluminium handle, which is not the most ergonomic handle I've ever seen.

(I'll be using the piece that goes on the arm, and puting the N4000 at the top end of the new handle)
