I have an Azden SGM1X mic that I mounted onto camera and the windscreen is sticking out into theframe. Any tips to help me out. I tried pulling it back out but that doesnt help.

How did you mount it? I mount mine (SGM1X) to the shoe on top of the handle, not with the Panasonic mic holder, with the on/off switch of the mic close to the forward edge of the mic's shock mount. I've never had it show in the frame.

I had the same problem with mine. I'm using the pan. mic mount with a 1 inch extension. Just find a piece of metal thats 1" wide and however tall you need it. Drill 4 holes to match the holes on the pan. mount and reuse the same screws. the piece fits between the camera and the bent piece. mike
