Mic multiple with lavs

I am looking at a project where I need to put a lav on 6-7 people. What's the best way to manage that many?

Hire a sound professional who has the necessary equipment, and the knowledge and experience to use it.

That’s a lot to try and cover if you’re busy with the camera.

Seconded. I never do more than two lavs when shooting solo. If it's more than that, you need a pro.
If you make your audio work in that situation, you will neglect something with camera or grip/lighting and vice versa.

Yes, hire a sound guy. Once you get above two to three, it can get hairy fast, especially if something goes wrong. We had a shoot with 11 people on wireless a few weeks ago and had an A2 to assist with getting everything straight and everyone wired. Good audio guys are worth their weight in gold. I love my guys, we didn't have a single audio problem, amazingly enough, with all of that wireless.
