PLEASE HELP ME!!!
I am GH4 user and for the first time I tried using two different mics with my camera and both stop working after 4 or 5 seconds (regardless if the RECORD button is pressed or not).
Recently purchased two Mics of Rode brand, one is Rode VideoMic which needs the battery for powering up and other is Rode VideoMicro Mic which runs on Camera's battery.
Both Mics are working FINE on Canon EOS camera though both stop working after 5 seconds on GH4.
Initially I can see sound bar movements on screen along with mic icon and then get silence / sounds stops, on screen i can see the mic icon though no sound movement on the bars after 5 seconds.
On computer i only get the sound of first few seconds and then silence in the rest of the footage.
Totally confused and really hope to have both mics working smoothly.
Already did factory RESET but same issue.
Firmware is 2.5 and I believe there is some issue in software side, previously never used any mics or recorders so no experience and probably that's why freaking out.
Please help me to fix this.
PS. I reside in Pakistan and here we got no Panasonic Cameras support and I got the Cam through someone who was visiting from US.
