mic att on dvx?

Hi Everyone,

Im a dedicated Canon GL/XL shooter who has recently converted to DVX. Does anyone know if there is a Mic Att feature on this camera? Ive looked around and cant seem to find it. Is it under a different name?

as far as i know, the only settings are -50db and -60db. but not a real mic att

Hi Chris, if your using the XLR input on the DVX you dont need the mic att (probably why dvx doesnt have it)... You can control mic input levels via the switches under the lcd.... if your using the internal try it the -60db setting Andrea suggested, but the internal on the DVX is really not good for anything.
