Just curious, anyone know of some good places where I could get a pretty cheap, wireless microphone (news reporter style), and a little case/band around the top of it? Anyone know what those are actually called? I've searched google and looked around on B&H, and haven't found anything I'm looking for. Wireless isn't completely necessary, but it would be nice. Something along the lines of this.

The audio content will be used on YouTube, so nothing outrageously expensive, since the quality will be getting shot done as it is.

Are you talking about a mic flag? The plastic box that bears any given network logo? You can get blank mic flags from Markertek and B&H.

As for wireless, go for the Sennheiser Evolution G2 100. You can get a combo system with both plug-on transmitter for hand-held mics and belt-pack transmitter for lav mics, or you can get a system with one or the other.

Or, you can get a handheld mic with built-in transmitter with the system:

The receivers for these systems can be camera-mounted (shoe mount).

This is the least expensive system I'd consider. Period. Never write your audio off as "just for Internet" or "just getting it done." Audio is important no matter what.
