Miami swimwear show shot with Sony fs100

I shot a miami L space swimwear show with the FS100 and the $200.00 E mount 50mm 1.8 lens. (love this lens)
for the runway i used the standard zoom lens that came with the camera at 1080p 60 frames and 125 shutter. I left it at 6.5 ap to avoid highlight blowout at the 3.5 range.
Edited with premiere and color with after effects color finesse 3
I used this profile i found on this site, (changed my life)

Very nice work Stanley, even more impressive considering the lenses you used. I've been considering a more conventional HPX3100 or EX3 for run-around doco-style work to commpliment my F3 and FS700, but maybe I should reconsider getting a kit-style large zoom.

I must admit i dont love the kit lens, but for runway it works fine. I tried a 28-75 2.8 alpha lens at a New York show, but it didnt zoom enough to get a a good head shot on the runway from that distance.
The cosmetic companies i work for care more about the makeup than wide shots of the clothing.

Don't think much of the lipstick though :)

Were you shooting Auto Focus or Manual ?
 
i was shooting in manual focus mode. i dont trust auto focus, because i like to decide whats in focus instead of relying on what is in the center of the shot
 
thanks! its the only picture profile i use now, because its so easy to bring to life in post and keeps the highlights in control
