Metadata Upload File for a Mac?

I'm trying to figure out how to use an SD card to load metadata onto the recorded files. The manual says:

"(To create the metadata upload file on the SD memory card) you will need the latest version of P2 Viewer. Download at eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/"

First of all, I can't seem to find that URL.

Second, is there a version of P2 Viewer for Mac? The CD that comes with camera says that P2 Viewer requires Windows OS...
 
The current P2 Viewer is PC-only. On another board jan has dropped some hints that sure make it sound like a Mac version is coming.
 
Wow. Hard to believe that with all the support from Apple / FCP, there is no way for a Mac user to utilize the metadata features...

Why is there no Mac support for the P2 software??
 
Well, unless I'm mistaken, MXF metadata may be easy to edit. Can anyone post a metadata file built by P2Viewer, and/or try editing it and then uploading? I'll try to see if any sort of checksum has to be calculated... but this stuff is designed to be easy to parse, no?
