Have a nice week guys!

Be aware that the Speedbooster while giving you sharper image and more light, it also gives you vignetting in the corners even with a telephoto lens, and it will exaggerate barrel distortion a bit....

I am wonder what happen if use adapter nikon -canon . Is it gonna work with speed buster ? do I need native canon mount ? All my lens contax ,zeiss ZF have aperture ring , so I do not need control it from the camera body.

I have the regular Metabones Mark I and II (going to sell Mark I) and I use a Fotodiox Nikon to Canon EOS adapter for my Zeiss ZF Nikon mount lenses which I then stack on top of the Metabones and it works perfect. You can get infinity focus and all, so I would think that it would be no different for the Speed booster. Also, I've read somewhere that you can adjust the infinity focus on the speed booster, so if all else fails, just re-adjust infinity focus.

Yes ,you are right , should work it , but any way before I spend 600$ I have to be quite sure . Is any one can confirm it ?

I did not know that. Didn't see it in my footage... https://vimeo.com/58343386

With all due respect, your video is not very well suited to judge those exact two issues, but trust me.... it's obvious once you film against a backdrop that is more or less uniform in tonage, or if you are shooting in geometrical environments. I'm not saying I'm totally put off by it because you do get full frame FoV, but they need to work on the optics for version two, because it's not there yet...

Well, it worked on the first two versions so not sure why it wouldn't on the 3rd. If you get one, please let us know.

The whole video kind of went a little too fast for me. But the last two shots were very telling. Two things that stuck out. The difference in brightness at the same F stop. Wow. And then...of course...how much wider the image became with the adapter on it. Also, the Metabones image looked cleaner (more light hitting the sensor) and the background wall that was in focus looked sharper.

Why would anyone question if this is worth it or not?

Thanks a lot for the tiffs. That's crazy. I can't wrap my head around how much this adapter makes my camera/lens better when it comes to seeing in the dark. The Metabones images are noticeably sharper than the original lens.

All these years and we are just now getting these types of tools? I'm saving my pennies.
