I have the chance to pick up a lightly used Metabones EF to E-Mount Speed Booster at a very reasonable price. It has firmware version 16. I cannot find anywhere what the different firmware revisions included. I was hoping someone here might have a clue as to whether I'd significantly benefit from a firmware upgrade if I buy it.
I'm using a Sony NEX-FS700R with several Canon lenses: EF 24-105mm f/4L USM, EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM, EF 50mm F/1.4 USM.
I am using a MKII Smart Adapter right now. I have had some issues with the 70-200mm losing communication/iris control. I'm wondering if this issue may be involved with some of the Speed Booster firmware revisions.
