Hi,

So today, I switch the FS7 on and notice the aperture is not displaying. I reboot the camera but still no display, I tried this several times and also tested it on my A7s and still the same, no aperture reading at all!

Luckily I have a Metabones MK4 adapter which I use with my A7s and this works fine but if anyone could chime in or report any similar problems I would appreciate any tips on how to resolve this issue.

Cheers!

did you try just switching to another lens just to change god knows what inside? they are peculiar little beasts. i have heard of them going bad which is why I wanted both adapters on hand. Smart to have the Mark IV ready. mI never go out with only 1.

And good luck getting support response from MB. I've emailed them several times -- just about firmware, etc. never received a response. But knock wood, both my IV & MB Ultra continue to work

Take a look at the pins on the EF side of the speedbooster, make sure they are all extended and not getting stuck. If you see one that is held back, use an eraser or something else to quickly push it and so that it can retract.

Another thing you can try is putting it into advanced mode to see if that makes a difference. While the FS7 is on, put in the speedbooster, then hold down the button on the side of the speedbooster while twisting on an EF lens. Once the lens is on, release the button on the side.
