GH4 Metabones MFT to Nikon Aperture control

I cannot get the Aperture ring to adjust directly from the Metabones adapter on my GH4. I have to use the Aperture control on the lens itself. This was not the case on my GH2...any thoughts of what I'm doing wrong. I have the metabones with 1-7 on the ring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. These are AIS manual lenses.

Strange... there shouldn't be any difference with its function on different bodies, all the mechanics are on the lens side.

Make certain that the adapter is in the fully closed position before mounting your lens... that's the most common error.

Yeah, probably it does. That's how my FD to M4/3 adapter works. I think that's common to many adapters. Give a go.
