awesome! but i thought it was supposed to be 2 stops, no?
Nope. The M43 sensor is larger than the BMPCC's sensor. The smaller the sensor the more light that would be gathered and projected onto that area.
you're obviously correct sir. but for the sake of helping me understand the concept a little better, based on that idea, shouldn't a m43 being smaller than aps c, get a light gain over the speed booster for aps c?
Anybody knows what the switch on the side is?
Thats just cold....Berger is bringing one out as well <8-0
It went out of stock in two days. I got lucky and ordered the day it was announced. On the GH4 the Canon 24-105 f4 has a peculiar issue. The F-stop reads f2.8 and goes to F16. Sometimes when I scroll through the f-stop settings the IS jumps. It makes a strange sound too. I hope this doesn't damage the lens. IS does work well.Anybody knows when it will be available?
It is for changing aperture on cameras that are m43 mount but have no electronics (blackmagic Cinema Camera).

Yes. I have taken the lens off several times. I just check it again and it still does it. Only when scrolling really fast.is your lens make full contact to the adapter? i just test my 24-105 and i can't seem to duplicate the issue you got.
I was thinking... It's to bad the adapter doesn't support EF-S lenses. Using FF lenses on GH4 still leaves a lot of glass unused. In 4K the crop is 1.7. So this is basically APS-C. How can I get a 28 - 85 2.8 with full frame EF lenses when shooting 4K with the speedbooster? I love this range with the Nikon speedbooster and a 17 - 50 lens that we use since day one with the GH4...
Yes, if you want to have an opened up lens![]()
