Metabones delays shipment of "Speed Booster" for m4/3

Metabones has announced the schedule for the Micro Four Thirds version of its innovative 'Speed Booster' lens adapter has slipped to the second half of 2013. Like the existing version for mounting Canon EF lenses on Sony NEX cameras, the forthcoming version will allow the use of full-frame lenses, reducing the focal length by a factor of 0.71x and increases the maximum aperture by 1 stop. The Micro Four Thirds version will give a 1.4x overall 'crop' - giving a similar field of view to APS-C stills cameras and the Super35mm video format.

Well, the BMC with m43 mount is the camera that most desperately needs this adapter, and it's not widely available either.

Also: it would be awesome if they could make the m43 speedbooster with a bit more magnification (0.5x, or at least 0.6x). Then a GH2 or GH3 would become nearly full-frame in terms of DoF... and the pocket BMC would become S35!!

Are they going to ship a m4/3 to m4/3 version of the adapter? Because the little Blackmagic would become at least a real m4/3 camera - or is there any Canon to m4/3 adapter that one could plug on top of the metabone adapter and that would maintain the active characteristics of the blackmagoc mount?

I would really like to use the little Blackmagic with the stabilized Panny 12-35mm f2,8 - the ideal combination for handheld, if those 12mm are wide enough.

a m43 for m43 adapter doesn't look possible: only short-flange-distance mount to long-flange-distance mount
but a pocket BMC with 0.56x speedbooster would become 1.62x crop, and we could be using all those nice EF-S lenses that many APS-C DSLR users have
(i.e. with active-m43-to-active-EF 0.56x speedbooster adapter on a pocket BMC, you'd have a camera with the price of the 7D, with a similarly sized sensor -equivalent-, but shooting 10-bit 422 prores and 12-bit raw, with 13 stops of DR)
