Hi guys,
I've recently bought a Nikon G -> Micro 4/3 adapter from Metabones.
I've realised today that I cannot fully open the aperture on all three lenses I own. I have a Sigma 18-35, a Tokina 11-16 and a Samyang 85mm all in Nikon mounts. The adapter does seem to work fine though, and by turning the aperture ring of the adapter the aperture of the lens physically moves smoothly and indeed gets smaller or bigger depending on which side I'm turning.
However, it's like the mechanism inside the adapter isn't quite 'long' enough to push the lever so that the aperture opens completely. I see the same thing happening, even when I do not attach the adapter to the camera.
The question is, is this normal? Is this just how the adapter is designed? Does anyone here has the same adapter / lens combo to tell me? Or is mine broken?
Thanks!
