I making this tread with a hope that it will help a lot of people to get their piece of gear they want. Ok, Birns and Sawayer are selling metabones adapter, they just got new batch last week. 99% of the time, they have them in stock, if not that's mean next batch is coming and it's coming always fast. They are selling for the same price! They have a great service and great people working there. I'm not sponsored by the (even though I would like), I'm not advertising them. I just want to let people know, where they can buy it with out waiting and also I'm trying to save your money from people who sells it here and there for $600+. Hope it's helpful. Thanks.

I just ordered one from proav.co.uk... good guys, and they have it listed as "in stock", so I take it it will be shipped more or less right away.
 
I haven't got my FS700 yet, but I did test my Metabones on my friends Sony NEX. It works really well. There are only 2 complaints.

1) When shooting below f2, the Bokeh get clipped on the top and bottom. it actually looks like it assumes the shape of the hole in the adapter. Fortunately, most of my primes that go to f1.4 are manual focus (Zeiss and Samyang) so I can use a dummy adapter that does not do that. But my beloved EOS 24mm f1.4 L II is a victim.

2) I was told by Metabones that for any type of future firmware update, you have to mail the adapter back to Hong Kong to have them do it which will take several weeks just in the mail. Seems like in this day and age, you should just be able to download the firmware and update it yourself.

Besides that those 2 issues, the adapter works great, and only for $400 it's an amazing deal. Even my EOS 2x II Extender works. That's really amazing :)
 
I got my metabones adapter from metabones last week. They were not in stock on the website nor would the website allow preorders but I emailed them and they let me preorder and I got mine in about a week.
