Metabones A-Mount - NEX Speed Booster Aperture Ring - Useable or not?

I'm told by Metabones that their latest A-mount to NEX SB has a declicked aperture ring. Does anyone have experience with it? I know I lose exact aperture value, but I wonder whether the adjustment is smooth and useable in practice (unlike the cheapo A-mount - NEX adapters I've used). Thanks.

Damn, checking now, I see that Metabones now makes a Nikon G (+F) to E adapter with aperture control. I have a cheapo eBay one which has questionable optics... I'm tempted to try out this Metabones one.
