has anyone had any joy balancing hmc151 with the merlin? I'm struggling to get it to work as well as i did with the dvx, can't see any settings in merlin cookbook. any help gratefully accepted
I use the 'C' hole for my 150. I also mount a shotgun mic (Azden SGM-2X with the short barrel, not the long one) on the accessory shoe on the top (not on the side) of the camera. I use all 6 middle weights on the bottom of the Merlin and the arm is angled almost all the way out. I also use a big battery.
