Merlin for the HVX

Yeah... the Merlin should hold that fine... especially with the new metal gimbal.
Question is... will your arm be able to hold it?
 
Yeah it'll work great with the new metal gimbal.

You could also *just* make it work on the original plastic gimbal too.

Not likely on the plastic, the new metal, yes. Provided if you have any long shots you are built like the governor of California...
