Menu sound mix with out put

Has any one else noticed this, I turned on the menu sound the other day , and over the weekend I was recording to a external monitor, so no REC in camera, just taking the feed. I can hear the menu sound through the SDI, don't think that should happen.

Hmmm, I can't handle the menu bleep so I turn it off but I might have to try that one and see if it does come through. Definitely should not!
