Got my DVX100A used on ebay. Shortly after I bought it, the menu button (as well as the transport controls) stopped working almost entirely. Every so often, I'll try them and they'll work, but rarely. Needless to say, this is a real pain when it comes to changing my settings.
Probably wishful thinking to wonder if i can override this with software or something. I guess what I'm really wondering is whether this is worth trying to repair or if i'm better off selling for what I an get and buying another.
I'm shooting a micro-budget feature in one week and want to use the anamorphic lens. My settings currently have the widescreen mask turned on. All I really need to do is turn that off so i can get all my scan lines. So if there's a solution i'm overlooking, help would be greatly appreciated.
