i tried different class 10 memory cards, in clue the sandisk 30mb/s and 45mb/s on gh2
they all write fairly slow... takes while to flush out the buffer from shooting RAW photos...
and it takes forever to get to playback mode
Using a Patriot IRIS 32 GB class 6 card ( that I know writes at 17 MB/sec ), my GH-2 frame rate drops down to between 1.5 - 2.0 seconds per shot once the camera buffer is full. I know that the SDHC card is fast, but I don't think the camera is able to write the image faster than 1.5 - 2.0 seconds per shot
The GH2 manual explicitly states that the burst rate of the camera is not affected by the write speed of the card as long as the card meets the minimum requirements. This is because the camera writes to internal memory first. Then it writes to the card. Try shooting RAW only or JPG if you really need faster response time after a burst is taken. RAW + JPG writes extremely slowly.
