Memoirs of a Vampire shooting in New Zealand

We started shooting our feature 'Memoirs of a Vampire' in New Zealand on March 20th one week behind schedule. We have had a rocky start from having received death threats against our cast and crew where we had to have local police as our security to camera and lighting problems.

This past week hasn't been to bad and three more weeks to go until we wrap up the film. If there is any interest from this form on our project I will update this link as we go along.

Why would anyone threaten to kill you?

Zeke; The hotel (where the audition were held at) and the production manager was receiving death threats. A lady was calling in saying she was going to come down and kill everyone including the people that were auditioning for the film. This lady had a few screws loose in her head. She felt that my crew and I were real vampires and we were going to turn the people of Gisborne into vampires so her mission from God was to kill me the director then kill my crew and the leading actress (15 year old) and as many people she could get her hands on until she was stop. She came to our location and the police caught her. We had Police and hired Security at our audition. A good way to start a film shoot right?
