Melting Ice Cube

I thought it was awesome. I know it's a simple shot, but it is amazing to watch.
Thanks for showing it. I'm gonna download it to show to my wife and daughter.

Was that in room temp or did you have some kind of heat source on the ice. I know it was timelapse. I only ask because the ice seemed to move around quite a bit. Nice stuff.
 
nice idea and execution... Camera can handle the highlights fo sho'.




I had thought about shooting some bread getting moldy and fruit rotting and that bizness but it's hard to leave the camera in one spot for 6 days.... ahhh the temptation to shoot.
 
The light was a 750watt light at about 60cm away. So it some kind of a heat source. Not beable to move the camera for the time of the recording was torture ;) Im not gonna do those too offen hehe

I'll try to do more soon
 
The heat source probably affected how the under of the ice melt and the temp of the plate made it slide from time to time.

It was shot at 1frame per 10 seconds I think.
