Im in North Austin, we are putting together a team to shoot a feature in Aug of 08 if you want to get involved just fill out our contact form http://zombie.spruz.com/main.asp?page=dp&dis=893949 there is no pay involved but great experience and portfolio material. So far we have about 20 people on board for this project.

Got a film in the Dallas Video Fest and Fortworth Int'l Film Fest this week / next week.

For Dallas Video Fest this weekend I have four 1 day passes that are transferable to anyone who wants to come out. This means you can go to any of the screenings for free (not just mine).

My film COLD CALLS screens Sunday at 8 in the "Texas Show" and I can get folks tickets for that but really I'd hate these day passes to go to waist to see everything else.

Tonight I can recommend GUTS AND GLORY a film race with a twist. All of the filmmakers are given film cameras. They then shoot the movie, editing in camera and are not allowed to see or develop their film. Tonight they will see their films for the first time while attempting to score, narrate, maybe even dub dialogue live in front of an audience.
 
Dang, I wish I could come out and meet/join you, but my wife insists I help with new baby and work insists I write scripts. Bummer. Hope you enjoy your time in Dallas. You picked a good weekend to come.
 
What day are the one-day passes for? any?? I've got a hectic work schedule this weekend, but Sunday may free up... I'll know more in a day or two.
