Meet Olympus Micro Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 and 45mm f/1.8

85 1.4 is good but seems less needed on the m4/3 AF100. We currently have a Tamron 70-200mm 2.8, so we are good for anything on the long end for now. But yes, 12mm 2.0, 25mm 1.4, 50 1.4, & 85 1.4 and go home!

Just wanted to give my final comments on the lens after I had used it on yesterday's job. It worked really well. Very wide and very fast. The lens is really small and you have to be careful how you hold it as your fingers can appear in the shot. Took some getting use to. The auto focus on it auto-focuses much better than any video camera I have ever owned. It's not hard to focus at 12mm/24mm equiv. It did a really good job keeping up with movement. If you can over look the size, I highly recommend the lens if you need something wide and fast. Those with the 14-35mm lens wouldn't need this one. I like it. Thanks everyone.

hang on! how about the very fast voigtalnder 25mm f0.95!?
It's all about budget ya know. You could get the 12mm 2.0 and a Leica 25 1.4 for about the same price. I'd love to have the 25 0.95, but $1200 for one lens is harder to pull. But yeah, for sure!

Nice! Thanks for reporting back. Sounds like this one is on my list. Was thinking of the Tokina 11-16, but the extra .8, being m43, and a prime lens have me thinking this lens. Thanks!

I've got over 10hrs of footage with this lens in action. I'll post tonight since you requested it. I figured no one cared for this lens :/

I'm wondering how it looks at f2.0 with the lens focusing on something fairly close. The thing everyone is after is that shallowDoF/wide feel of the 5D. This lens is probably as close to wide and shallow that the AF100/GH2 can get. This lens and the 25mm f0.95 Voig anyway. The Olympus for wide/shallow, and Voig for kinda wide/supershallow.
