...yeah that was my voice.lol i tried to talk like a smooth and cool dude teen as much as i could, so i sat and practised the voice for about 10 takes through or somthing. i wasnt very happy with the sound, but since it was the last thing i did after the vid was done being edited, i didnt have alot of time, so i settled when i thought it was good enough- i had actually done a full version of the spot with a rap song that i put behind the part with the party, but i thought it was to hard to divert peoples minds from the bit of song they hear to instantly listening to the turning point in the commercial which was key to the impact.. so i wasted a bunch of time putting together the music, and practising rapping and not sounding like someone with absolutely no rap flava. lol but oh well.
i watched the top contract "winners" in the contest, looks like the jury didn't take the cinematic quality as a priority.. more the advert idea behind them... oh well, i think yours is better IAL..
there was another good one, with the clock and the split-screen.
Can you say Update? I finally saw it. Great job, I can't tell you my storyline but I will say great minds think alike! As far as the winner goes I think if I had put all this time into this and he won. I would of been scratching my head ???
well. it does make you feel a bit like the kid who makes a detailed reconstruction of the entire spanish armada for his science project, and then the little girl who made animals out of cotton balls by gluing googly eyes to them wins cause theyre just "so darn cute". but what can i say.. such is life. it was fun, and i guess i still get aired.. and the 300.00 pays me for my time i guess. it just wasnt a professionals/filmmakers contest..
