Media Players on Apple computers.

Are Quicktime the only Media players that will work with MAC's? I have been trying to download some short films, music videos, etc. and can't because the majority of them are in WMV format. Since Windows Media Player is a PC format, I am sure that won't work on MAC right?

Different file types often require different programs to view them. Quicktime is not the end all media player for the mac (it mainly specializes in playing .mov type video files). For windows media files (.wmv, etc.), you need the windows media player (available for the PC AND Mac).

Just joined the group and thought i might give a little suggestion although it's a few weeks later.

I have found that the program "VLC" is great for handling a lot of formats. Ranging from many WMV files to quicktime as well as a lot of AVI files that quicktime can't play. You should be able to find it at download.com or search on google for it.
