Media Composer 3 and File-based Pulldown

Can anyone who has upgraded to MC 3 tell me if I can import P2 media shot in 1080 24pA and have Avid remove the pulldown for me? Avid's website is a little unclear on this point.

No you can't. You can use MXFX Tool to reprocess the file beforehand though to create native 23.976p.

Thanks for the information, Michael. Can you share if this is still a "to do" item for Media Composer development? It seems like this is been on the list for a while.
