media can't be used

Hey there. Got a question about the SxS adaptor cards that allow SD input. Mine is getting rejected saying that it can't be used. What am i missing here? Certain card requirements?

Gear used:
EX1r
E-Films MxR EXPRESS CARD READER
Scandisk Ultra 16g SD Card

Odd. is your ex1r running the latest firmware?

I also have an ex1r, haven't used an MxR adapter in yet (mine was stolen along with my old ex1) so I'd like to see you get this figured out


Also, have you tried going into the cameras menu and formatting the card? the write protect switch on the SD card isn't on is it?

Thanks for the ideas! Got 'er fixed. It was as simple as formatting the SD card (from within the cameras menu).....
