ME66 Shotgun, with the k6 adapter and a foam sock, in great condition, bought it here in L.A. at Location Sound. I'm selling it for $250. At the moment I'd like to sell it local, so we can meet face to face on the transaction(I'd be happy to bring it to you). If I get no bites I'll consider selling it to anywhere in the U.S.

No, Canada's fine. I'm a bit new to selling things over the internet and am unclear as how both parties in these situations handle insuring my payment (and vice-versa, making sure that the person buying the gear doesn't get a bad or damaged product). I sold my XL1s on E-Bay and we did the paypal thing.

what ive done in the pased its send the seller a money order, basically like sending cash. Im not sold yet though just doing some investigating and found it interesting. im currently using a at835b, wonder how it compares to it.

It's a good price, they go for over $400 new, and I believe I had to pay for the sock extra, you know, those pieces of foam that they make for 30 cents and sell them for 30-50 bucks. The mic is a workhorse, it's not a 416, but that's $1,200. And yeah, I'd take a money order I guess.

Sent you a PM, but forgot to ask one thing. Is the K6 that you have the one that will take a battery also, or just phantom power?

The K6, which screws on as an extension to the mic, takes AA battieries, so you don't need to use phantom power with it.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've had it around 2 1/2 - 3 years, I use it mostly on sit down interviews. Yeah it's in great shape, not a nick on it, sounds great. I'm upgrading to a used 416.

The mic hasn't been sold yet, but I'm not coming down in the price, $250 is a great deal for an me66 in excellent condition. I put a flier for it at the EVS office in Burbank.
