Me vs. You

wow, thanks a lot. it was fairly simple, i tried to take advantage of that as much as i could.

yeah, i made one other short which spoofed my job. it came out a bit too honest, oops, and i nearly got canned for it, but hey the truth hurts... i used cheerleaders in it also. i shot it with a fifty buck camera i got on ebay . talk about simple productions... i kept it black and white. i did get it into a film festival though. and that got me here, looking to find the best camera for the bucks. dvx! i love my dvx, i swallowed hard putting the money down but it really is the best buy i ever made. ( well, that and my octava)


right now im filming a full length flick. i try and use my writing as my best asset since my production hasnt gotten all that much more complicted yet. but, hopefully my story will keep people interested enough to overlook my many other flaws. hopefully!

Hey, i think you did a great job. Must have been hard to play opposite yourself. lol

I enjoyed it. Good acting too i thought.
 
15th review:

again another i felt took way too long to tell the story, but 5 minutes better than 6. Its a disturbing trend, the length it is taking for these to complete. The idea was understood that there are two conflicting people, and giving us too long to see that its personalities, not people hurt the potential. I felt at around 3 minutes this could have been better, but then again i didnt like it in the first place so its moot really, i doubt i would have liked it at 3 or 2.

The audio wasnt so great, what was all the buzzing? acting was MUCH better than most, a plus atleast, but barely passable, it was really hit or miss with each line so thats a minus. but the banter was atleast somewhat natural, but it took too long for them to respond to eachother, and editing problem. again for a movie that takes place in generallly one location, it was far too long especially without new information.

i understood the ending, but didnt like it. but tremendous effort and hope you can point it toward a better project in the future.

thats it.

maybe i should give a disclaimer before i get warned? ( i had to stop reviewing horrorfest because i wasnt being that positive, this is how i feel and i guess ill just post until im stopped again)
 
ha, no worries cynic 821, honesty is cool with me. i'd much rather hear it than hear nothing at all. you cared to write and i thank you for it.

i don't think you need a warning, your name cynic kinda gives you away a little bit, no?
