So I am shooting a training video with a live animal its was amazing!!! footage i havent got to date and was excited to see it on my computer but when I opened up the file it was a .mdt ? This has never happened to me before using this camera. Anyone have any clue what happened and more important can I save the file.

What format are you using? AVCHD? .MOV? .MP4?

we were using .MOV and I shot another video on the card and it worked fine. I ordered a new sd card to replace it because I shoot tons of live footage and cant lose it again. So bummed and hoping I can get this file back. It has a awesome video on it. :(

Were you shooting in slow motion? I've had this happen to me, where I'm shooting slow motion (usually 96fps), the camera freezes up, and I have to take the battery out and put it back in to get the camera to reboot. What's left on the card is a .MDT file that I've never been able to open. I've tried renaming it with different extensions, File Juicer, and anything else I could think of... never got the clip back
