MC6 Glitch for AVCHD

Learning MC6 and found I could not display audio waveforms in audio track. Posted on Avid Forum and responses have been displaying audio waveforms is one thing MC6 can not do when using AMA to bring AVCHD clips into project--have any of you that are using MC6 seen this?

I was still learning MC5 when upgrade offer for MC6 came along, so not expert in MC at all. However, another difference I notice between MC5 and MC6 working with Panasonic AG-HMC40 AVCHD files is I would import files from AVCCAM viewer into MC5. I had Avid expert helping me activate MC6 and when we tried importing from AVCCAM we had problems. We could however import direct from SD card into MC6 using AMA and it works very quickly.

Have you tried a new user setting? Avid recommends blowing out your user settings & creating new. One of my MC6 systems worked fine with imported USER settings, the other MC6 system acted crazy. Made a new user file and all was well.... just a thought.

Can you display audio waveforms when you bring AVCHD files into MC6 using AMA link---the glitch I mentioned in my post? In any case the new user settings sounds like a good tip in general.
