I sold my camera and lights already, don't have any use for it. Decided to concentrate on writing (my first love)...getting too consumed by the technical trappings of filmmaking.
 
What's your point, MattinSTL? My screen name is Jack Straw (a Dead tune), but my name is Chip. Been on this site for over a 1 1/2 years, just posted recently.

Matt, have you used it as a shotgun/cam mic on the 100A? I am new here - I'm planning on buying a dvx100a from a friend and I've been looking around to pick up the add ons needed.
 
I don't know if I'm the Matt you wanted the answer from, but I use an Mk012 on-cam all the time. It works great. I use it in a K-Tek KSSM (with soft bands) and you can use a foam, windtech, or Rycote BBG (which I use) for excellent results. I also boom interiors with the Mk012/hyper and get great results. (Original DVX... not "A" model... but that won't matter)

If I didn't already have TWO of these I'd buy it.
