"Mayor vs Gremlin" 48hour Film Contest.

Heyo. Finally get to post a project.
 
I was Cinematographer, Cam op, and editor for this 48 hour Vancouver film fest project (same contest as Norm Li). My good buddy Aaron Elton was the Director, and Arran Shearing was my Gaffer. Aaron and I had to do a lot of compromising to get the job done in 48-hours, but I am happy with it. I gotta pick up one of those cobra cranes like Norm. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Our main theme was "Just found out halloween was canceled" and "Has to be a VS movie".
Our prop was a pumpkin.

Nicely done... I got chills at some points. I was expecting something small (not sure what) to attack into the house instead of standing pestilence… Although I really liked what you guys did with it. How long was editing? How about shooting and planning?

We planned the 1st night at 7:00pm. We had our story and shot-list done by 6:00am. We started shooting the next day at 2:00pm. We finished shooting around 2:00am and started capturing at 3:00am. Started editing at 9:00am and finished at 6:30pm. We raced from Deep Cove to Kits (Across all of Vancouver) to get it in at 7:00pm. My adrenaline has never been that high before, it was a crazy drive forsure. We got there at 6:57pm to find out that only 4 groups had there projects in and that they were extending the deadline to 7:30pm.
