Does Samsung have a broadcast division? I can't seem to find one. But they do produce this new line of NX DSLR cameras. These are mirroless DSLR's with flip out AMOLED screens. Seems to me that they might be willing to go for better video if the market shows them we want it. So maybe we should petition Samsung for some of the features the Japanese camera companies aren't giving us.
Just a thought.
EDIT: I found an article somewhere that talks about Samsung saying they plan to hit the market with a 4K option in the DSLR-style cameras by 2013. That's interesting, considering they also showcased a 4K TV. I guess it's possible that Samsung could be a major player in this market within a few years.
