GH5 Max lens weight?

Was going to get the new positive locking cine metabones speedbooster (5th generation, new) .71x speedbooster, EF to M43, for my milvus lenses.

However, what is the safe maximum weight without support or rails on the GH5? Some of that milvus glass is heavy... 2lbs for most, 3lbs for a couple...

No idea what the maximum recommended lens weight is, but I purchased a LockCircle Robot Skin full cage for mine...it completely wraps the front of the camera making the actual mount very rigid...I've tested it with a Nikon AF-S 80-200 F2.8 ED zoom (A full metal construction monster) without lens support and no problems...would not have attempted it without the cage with no lens support...you may not want to add the weight of the cage to your GH5, though it adds more bulk than weight, but it truly beefs the camera up...a superb piece of workmanship!

I'm going to customize mine somewhat by adding a leather handgrip to slide my hand through while handholding and gripping the camera...I like the security of lowering the camera that way....I also use the Nikons with a Metabones XL Speedbooster....all feels solid.

Thanks fboonzaier. I have the movcam cage, but it looks like yours actually adds support to the lens mount?

I am not sure if that is needed with 2.5-3lbs weight. Mitch says that lens weight is a non issue on the EVA1, but I am worried on the GH5 as it's a weight significantly more than the camera itself. But then, I do see a lot of people mounting heavy glass, including Milvus, to the links of Sony A7S series...

Can anyone speak more to what the GH5 mount can take weight wise?
