FS5: Max lens weight before needing support.

I think you're nuts to consider not using a support. At the cheapest, you could get a railblock, rails, and a basic support on Amazon for about $60. It's a tiny expense that could save you thousands in repairs.

I run a rental shop and I include the rails and a support with metabones adapters for free, because it's easier than letting people wreck my stuff to save $5.
