Max Brightness without gain

so if I am shooting 1080/30p what can I do to get Max Brightness without using gain.

the question assumes I already have F wide open and I cant add lighting to scene

you can adjust the synchro scan abit. Slow the shutter without pushing motion blur too much. Raise the pedestal a bit to retain some shadow detail. High Gamma.

whats normal shutter speed for 30p

Normal for 30p is either 1/50 or 1/60. If you have "shutter off" it's 1/50. You can slow it down to 1/30 to get more light, but it will also result in more blur.

And, obviously, make sure the ND filters are set to off. :thumbsup:
