Not that I know of . The front of the wide angle is pretty big. I don't know how many millimeters, but you'd have to step down the size to fit the adapter for the mattebox and i just looked at mine...and it looks like like even if you did fabricate some kind of adapter it would be in the field of view big time.

You might be able to do something with a different kind of mattebox that will mount on rods.

Just my two cents.

I don't believe you can use any mattebox with the century lens except the Century Wide-Angle mattebox. And even then I'm not 100% sure.

I have a question after looking at that matte box. Someone told me they got a matte box for $1500 and I thought that was ABOUT how much they should cost or somewhere in that range. How come this one is so cheap? Why is the range in price so drastic? Thanks for the help my friends, happy holidays.

Haven't used it. I thought Jarred didn't think too highly of the Formatt. I think everyone acknowledges that it's a great buy for the money, but is it in and of itself great? I don't know.

The build is pretty comparable to the Cavision.. except the format doesnt have filter trays, which to me is a no-no. You just push the filters in. And its big.. really big. which can be bad, or good.
