Mattebox for hmc 150 /hpx 170

Since it uses 15mm rods to support the mattebox I'd say it "should" fit. If it uses the dvx bayonet mount then it won't fit but it looks to include a 72mm universal adapter. As long as it positions the matte box in the right place you'll be fine. I have my Chrosziel mounted on similar 15mm rods with a riser until Chrosziel makes an HMC/HPX adapter.

Noticed any difference shooting outside with the mattebox and without it ?
 
Well the French flag can be positioned lower than the stock hood so I get less flare shooting into the sun or front-facing studio lights
