Matte LCD protector for O7Q and support for Samsung EVO 850-disks?

I just read that Atomos have announced a new range of accessories, one of them being a matte LCD protector. I was out a couple of days ago shooting with the FS700 and O7Q, and could barely see what was on the screen even though I used the hood, since the reflections were the main problem. My question is:
Does anyone know if there is a matte LCD protector available for the O7Q or if CD will be making one? I would buy one instantly.

I also remember reading somewhere that the O7Q will be accepting Samsung EVO 850 SSD discs and that CD will make some sort of handles for them, so that they can be pulled out of the O7Q. Is there a place (preferably within EU) where I can order these?

Don't know of a EU reseller, but I imagine the shop where you bought your Odyssey device can use the product code CD-SSD-HANDLE5PK to order it for you. (Pack of five handles. MSRP $25.)

Thanks cinebuddy! I suspected they aren't but thought I might as well order the handles so that I can get them faster.
 
If you already have the Convergent Design Sunhood, sliding the Hoodman H900 overtop makes a great sun-proof setup.

That's of course an option although somewhat limited, since I won't be able to use it on my steadicam. A matte screen protector would help me a lot.
 
We have tested a few matte screen protectors including one that looks quite similar to what I think the competition is using. We found that none of them really offered much of a difference at all. We are still looking at options and are open to suggestions.

Samsung drives not yet supported. We will announce a new forecast soon.

Ok, it's good to know that you've been testing matte screen protectors. Hopefully someone will make one that's good.

is this 5 pack available to order at B&H? seems not yet available there...i typed that "CD-SSD-HANDLE5PK" but nothing came up.
 
It's really unfortunate I can't remember the name of the product...but the anti-reflection screen I bought for my original iPad 4 years ago is perfect. No reflection, no fingerprints, no bubbles, no delay in touch recognition, and it doesn't cut down the image transmission too much.

if only my memory wasn't so old

Was it PowerSupport Anti-Glare? Those have been hands down my favorite screen protectors of all time and get them for every device I have. I wish there was an option like that for the O7Q.
