Matte box 4:3 vs 16:9

hi,
i have to buy a Mattebox. I'd like a bellows one

So i would ask if is better a 4:3 one or a 16:9

Usually i can shot in both ways, but i would ask if is better using a 4:3 matte box while shoting in 16:9 with some adjustament or a 16:9 shoting in 4:3

Thanks to help me with this huge dilemma
 
Depends on if you're shooting sd or hd. If sd on a dvx for instance, 4:3 is fine. If hd then 16:9. 16:9 is more expensive than 4:3, typically, so most people stick to 4:3 until they have to change. If you're buying new and can afford it, then go 16:9 all the way. Try Cavision or GearDear .coms to start.

Sorry, it's about two weeks that i am trying with the SEARCH tool, without any results. (Perhaps it has been SOLD yet). So now i am trying with the ASK tool.

When I had realized that MarketPlace / Buying Gear was a place for selling, i have already got some answers. So i thought it was better go on with this thread instead that trying on a new one.

If you are an administrator you can move my thread to an appropriate forum...

However i do different question in different thread with a clear subject. This works very well when you use the SEARCH tool.
